The Egyptian Museum of Antiquities contains many important pieces of ancient Egyptians history. It houses the world's largest collections of pharaonic antiquities, and many treasures of king Tutankhamon and The Museum's Royal room, that containing 27 mummies from pharaonic times.
There are two floors in The Museum, the ground floor and the first floor. On the ground floor there is an extensive collection of papyrus, coins, statues, tables and coffins (sarcophagi) of Ancient Egypt period.
The first floor contains many pieces of the tomb of child king Tutankhamon, that tomb was found mostly intact. Inside the tomb there was a large collection of artifacts used throughout the King's life. Two ivory and gold bracelets, necklaces, and other decorative jewelry, alabaster vases and flasks. The tomb was also home of many weapons and instruments used by The King. The best artifact in King Tutankhamon tomb is the famous Gold Mask, The Mask weighs in at 11 Kg of solid gold.
